Maqolada rivojlanish nuqsonlari bo'lgan bolalar uchun tuzatish-pedagogik ta'lim doirasida nutq terapiyasi (logopedik) tadbirlarining o'rni va ahamiyati muhokama qilinadi. Asosiy e'tibor nutq terapevtlari tomonidan murakkab rivojlanish muammolari bo'lgan bolalarda nutq va muloqot buzilishlarini bartaraf etishda qo'llaniladigan o'ziga xos usul va usullarga qaratiladi. Maqolada tuzatish-pedagogik asosga kiritilgan logopediya ishlari qanchalik samarali ekanligi, bu bolalarning ijtimoiylashuvini, o'rganish qobiliyatini va umumiy kommunikativ rivojlanishini yaxshilashga yordam berishini ta'kidlaydi. Nutq va tildagi nuqsonlarni bartaraf etish orqali bunday tadbirlar nogiron bolalarning shaxsiy va akademik o'sishini rag'batlantirish, ularning mustaqillik va hayot sifatining yuqori darajalariga erishishga yordam berish kabi kengroq maqsadlarga hissa qo'shadi.
